West Tulsa Church Planning “Day of Giving”
/12/15/2021 (Tulsa, OK) - Cognizant Church invites Tulsans in need to a “Day of Giving” Saturday, December 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 4050 Southwest Blvd, Tulsa, OK 74107.
Through partnerships with Josh Stout Art Gallery, Red Fork Church of God, and Red Fork Baptist Church, Cognizant will be distributing FREE coats, blankets, winter accessories, hygiene items, and snacks.
The event will be held at Cognizant Church and will last until 2:00 p.m. or until supplies run out. Blessing bags will be limited to one of each item per person, and you must be present to receive one.
“We’re really happy to see the level of community involvement that’s been going on here in the Red Fork area over the last year, and to see the number of churches, business, and schools who are stepping up to make a difference in West Tulsa,” said Cognizant Pastor Scott Bryan.
“This is an area that’s really unique and special in a lot of ways, but we do have struggles in our community, including houselessness. We don’t want to overlook anyone or see anyone go in need through the holidays and colder months.”
“Our goal is always to share the love and good news of Jesus Christ, and that means fulfilling the physical needs of His people,” said Bryan.
