CPHS Basketball: Davon Richardson named to All-State team

Charles Page High School senior Davon Richardson has been named to the Large School East All-State Team. The University of Central Oklahoma-commit led the Sandites to Regional and Area titles and a State Tournament berth this season, but never got to play the State Tournament after it was canceled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Richardson averaged 16.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.2 steals, and 1 block per game this season. He scored 422 total points, bringing his career total to 1331. He recorded 10 double-doubles this year and 20 in his career. His season-high scoring output was 28 points against Bartlesville, and he scored 44 in a game against Owasso as a sophomore.

Richardson also received All-Conference and All-District honors this year. At UCO he will rejoin former teammate Colt Savage.
