Sand Springs Soccer celebrates six on Senior Night

The Charles Page High School soccer program celebrated six seniors at their Tuesday night matches against Shawnee. The Class of 2018 will graduate five girls and one boy.

Kayla Shuffield is the daughter of Amber Potter and Jorge and April Berumen. She has been a member of the girls' soccer team for one year. After graduation she plans to attend Oklahoma State University and eventually John Hopkins to study medical surgery.

Jewelia Lahmeyer is the daughter of Matt and Crystal Lahmeyer. She has been a member of the girls' soccer team for three years. After graduation Jewelia plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma to study biology, then will attend medical school at the University of Oklahoma.

Kylie Taylor is the daughter of Kristy and Andy Duncan. She has been a member of the girls' soccer team for four years. After graduation she plans to attend Labette Community College to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Megan Lambert is the daughter of Robert and Jennifer Lambert. She has been a member of the girls' soccer team for three years. After graduation she plans to attend Tulsa Community College and then to major in physical therapy at Oklahoma State University.

Abigail Banks is the daughter of Justin and Shanna Banks. She has been a member of the girls' soccer team for four years. After graduation she plans to play collegiate soccer at Oklahoma City University, where she will study political science and philosophy while pursuing a law degree. 

Dylan "Thunder" Hart is the son of Chuck and Kara Hart. He has been a member of the boys' soccer team for two years. A National Merit Scholar, Hart plans to attend the University of Tulsa who has awarded him their Presidential Scholarship. 

The girls' soccer team is 7-3 overall and 1-2 in district action this season. The boys are 4-6, 0-3. Sand Springs Soccer has four matches left before the playoffs. They will travel to Union High School Friday night at 6:00 p.m. and will play at home next Tuesday against Owasso.
