Varsity Girls take 42nd

Cheyenne Walden came in second at the 2015 Chile Pepper XC Festival. It was her first time this season not taking first place, but with 71 schools participating, it's still incredibly impressive. She was 12 seconds behind first place runner Chelsea Drum of Jackson High School and had a 12 second lead on third placer Tori Findley of Blue Springs South High School. Her streak of five first-place finishes may have come to an end, but she finished with a season-best 17:58.97, beating her previous season-best of 18:25 at Broken Arrow.

Alexis Davis finished second among the Lady Sandites and 209th overall with a season-best 21:26.91, improving on her 22:21 at Broken Arrow.
